On September 17th, the Acoustic Cafe hit the lights in the Union round room at UWMC. Musicians like Nick Hull, Gordon Stewart, Levi Scott, Luke Lundgren, Pa Kou Lee and Jake Balzer among many others hit the stage and jammed out tunes on acoustic guitars and bongo drums.
Several poets also made showings including Max Brooks and Lauren Spodic, speaking on topics of love, Brooks swinging away from his usual comedy act.
Gordon Stewart said, “It’s fun. I’d like to come back. Get other stuff ready for it.”
The next Acoustic Cafe will be on October 15, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the Student Union.
