The Forum’s first issue of volume 47 is now available in stands around the UWMC campus. Look for it around Wausau in the days to come. The road to completing this first edition was filled with challenges. But I think we can all agree that the finished product was worth the wait.
We’ve learned a great deal about print production in the past few weeks. The first issue was produced using Adobe InDesign and typeset in Caslon Pro. The layout emphasizes efficient use of space and as a result, we were able to densely pack this first issue with great articles while still having room for many pictures. You will also notice many of the pages were printed in color (although we regret having printed the “In Photos” section in grayscale).
Look for the next edition of The Forum’s print edition in early November.

The InPhotos section was not printed in grayscale. It was sent to the printer in color but it was printed in black and white. It should have been sent to the printer in grayscale, not color. But oh well.
