Here we are, in the current state of the world, politics, war, scum, grease, candy, and the post fallout landscape beyond the well documented death of the American dream. This is our empty cache, our depleted paradise. What was the American dream? ..A steady job, survival, a fortune, greed, power, an empire? I couldn’t say for sure. I’ve read about it, that’s all. Stories told by free spirits, junkies, perverts, dope fiends, and aging hippies.

I’d say we’re recovering from a disgusting gene pool full of evil dating back to the first fortune seeking pioneers who discovered this land.. but really we’re just ‘evolving’ beyond simple things like the idea of ‘evil.’ The terrible heights and infinite possibility of humanity’s freewill to malaise is still very much unexplored.

The 1960s saw the rise and fall I suppose. Since the remnants of a vast army of morally upright rose to stand against things like persecution and tyranny, fighting for justice and freedom.. Fell. Just in time, they were labeled crazies and pornographers and driven out of the cities. Dispersed. retreating in complete shock, falling back disappearing.. The last few survivors faded into legend. The children of the acid wave were exiled. The remaining political dissidents groups of today are being rooted out one by one.

Damn cars, damn our dependence on motor vehicles. Damn oil and damn those dirty thugs disguised in expensive suits collecting the profit. Damn censorship, fast food, alcohol, dirty politics, nuclear weapons, television, corruption, and most important of all.. Damn money. Send these things to hell where they belong.

With the thugs and petroleum junkies sitting in the gold seats, hands thick in blood and everything that powers this world, it does look grim. They’re equipped with state of the art surveillance technology and crowd control weapons, using them with the signed permission of the people as the ignorant hordes mass behind them cheering.. what can be done? They tear down the rights of the individual with astounding ease, disassemble the constitution piece by piece and shit on everything our country stands for.

All their pieces are in place. The legal rights of citizens have been thrown to the ground and burned, the media is a sock puppet, the driving forces behind wars are becoming weapon’s manufacturers, lobbyist own congress, and in the presidency is yet another man who offered much charisma and a pocket full of empty promises, but of course, had his own agenda all along. Hell, the check mate has come and gone, this board is black.

It does appear to me we are living in a realm that has already collapsed in on itself. We never saw it, we never witnessed clear enough images of the Emerald City in ruins to believe it. Can you believe your own eyes? The movements of the past century are nothing but long lost memories. We see a few pictures, maybe a splash of video on the evening news, wondering just what had really happened so long ago.

We live in the new Emerica. A corrupt nation.. greed, consumption, and power define the United States of Emerica today. Oil flows like thick pulpy blood through the streets visible to all, hundreds of bodies wash up on the coastal beaches, people work as slaves daily for the imposed desire for material possessions, television screens burn advertisements into the people’s heads as they stare blankly and repressed. Egotistical new age secret police harass people at random, anyone who makes the mistake of leaving their home. Around every corner are gangs of honor-less thugs waiting to swipe your wallet and beat you dead without a second thought.. while the millions of working class citizens are locked up tight in homes of brick and steel, in a state of habitual shock, fear, and sadness. Caught in an opaque denial of what their nation has become.

Many see involvement in politics as unnecessary, but watching over local, state and federal government is a job assigned to every American in the Declaration of Independence. It is our duty, if our government becomes corrupt or tyrannical to overthrow said government and install new leadership. We are asked to keep an eye on our leaders and ensure their decisions are right and true.

It’s a part of our lives. Those who are lawyed over should be helping in shaping said laws. It seems like a necessity. The only way we can pull out of this mess is to get together, get organized and start to care about the grim state of our country. Separate from apathy and get involved.
